Her creative approach to legal marketing balances brand equity, fresh concepts and innovative tactics with relevant performance measures to maximize effectiveness, increase revenue and achieve business goals. After many years of working with Fortune 500 companies, she started Sheley Marketing early in 2009 to combine her corporate marketing experience and legal marketing expertise, and offer this unique combination to small and mid-size law firms.
Sheila began her career in New York City as a freelance marketing specialist for large corporate clients, including IBM, Lehman Brothers, AT&T, PepsiCo and Citibank. She eventually joined the ranks at Citibank as a Vice President, responsible for national marketing campaigns designed to enhance Citi’s image as a responsible lender within the college student market. She launched a very successful financial literacy program that continues to educate students across the U.S. today. Her efforts contributed significantly to the positive brand recognition that Citi Cards achieved on college campuses throughout the country. When Citigroup acquired The Associates in 2000, Sheila relocated to the Irving, Texas office and spent her final year at Citi engaged in the effort to integrate the marketing of these businesses.
Sheila later became Director of Marketing at Experian, managing all marketing, advertising and public relations for the Business Strategies division based in Irving, TX.
